GALLANT WAKING (G165): Slow to begin and then was crowded by SIMPLY MAVERICK which shifted out. After the race, C L Chau reported that after being held up for some distance near the 400 Metres GALLANT WAKING found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight due to carrying the top weight in the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TURIN MASCOT (H165): No report. WINNING DRAGON (E461): No report. ROMANTIC LAOS (G476): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. FASHION LEGEND (J080): No report. LEAN HERO (G402): After the race, H Bowman reported that when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to shift across behind runners to avoid racing wide and settled further back than intended. He added with the pace of the middle stages being run outside of standard, LEAN HERO was unable to make up ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. IVY LEAGUE (H116): From the 800 Metres was left racing wide and without cover. SIMPLY MAVERICK (H346): Sent for sampling post-race. SOLID IMPACT (E447): After the race, K De Melo reported that in the Home Straight his mount hung in and proved difficult to ride out to the finish of the event. MAJESTIC SPEED (J018): Slow to begin. Raced keenly in the early stages. The performance of MAJESTIC SPEED, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MAJESTIC SPEED will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. RED HARE KING (H188): Sent for sampling post-race. THESIS (H111): After arriving at the Start, THESIS was inspected at the request of Jockey A Badel and was found to be lame in the left front leg. Acting on veterinary advice that the horse was not suitable to race, THESIS was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being allowed to race again, THESIS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
