CHIU CHOW BROTHER (E188): Jumped only fairly, shifted in and was bumped shortly after the start. After the race, A Badel reported that his mount raced "flat” throughout the event and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, CHIU CHOW BROTHER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. MY INTELLIGENT (G031): Sent for sampling post-race. FIRE BALL (D087): Approaching the 300 Metres was crowded between FORTUNE MASTER and PRECISION GOAL (C L Chau) which shifted out. C L Chau was reprimanded. As a result, FIRE BALL then did not obtain clear running until after the 200 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MODEST GENTLEMAN (G352): Over the concluding stages shifted in and bumped HERO ICON. HERO ICON (G422): Bumped at the start. Over the concluding stages was bumped by MODEST GENTLEMAN which shifted in. TACTICAL COMMAND (H197): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. DOUBLE SHOW (G250): Bumped at the start. Near the 600 Metres was taken out slightly by FORTUNE MASTER and as a result raced wide and without cover thereafter. PRECISION GOAL (H016): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MILLENNIUM FALCON (D281): Bumped on jumping. Near the 800 Metres raced keenly when being crossed by CHIU CHOW BROTHER. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. EASY TWO (G423): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages and raced keenly. Held up for clear running approaching the 250 Metres and near the 200 Metres was steadied when crowded between PRECISION GOAL which shifted in slightly and NOIR RIDER (M L Yeung) which shifted out. M L Yeung was advised to exercise more care. Over the final 50 Metres could not be ridden out when positioned close to the heels of HERO ICON. FORTUNE MASTER (D371): After travelling a short distance was hampered when crowded between FIRE BALL and CHIU CHOW BROTHER which shifted out. Lay in in the Home Straight and approaching the 50 Metres shifted in and bumped NOIR RIDER. NOIR RIDER (E138): Near the 1000 Metres was steadied when crowded between TACTICAL COMMAND and MODEST GENTLEMAN which shifted in and away from CHIU CHOW BROTHER despite the efforts of its rider A Atzeni. Leaving the 100 Metres was steadied when crowded between FORTUNE MASTER which shifted in slightly and MODEST GENTLEMAN (A Atzeni) which shifted out. A Atzeni was severely reprimanded and advised to stop riding and straighten his mounts sooner than he did on this occasion.
