HAPPY GOLF (H056): Near the 1000 Metres got its head up when crowded between FLYING PHANTOM and SERGEANT PEPPER which shifted out. Lay in in the Home Straight and near the 150 Metres its rider B Avdulla was obliged to stop riding and straighten his mount.
TOGEPI (G458): No report.
LYRICAL MOTION (G081): Near the 1150 Metres was steadied when crowded between LUCKY PLANET which shifted in before being corrected by its rider H Bentley and TEAM HAPPY which was taken out slightly by FLYING PHANTOM which was positioned tight to the outside of TOGEPI (L Ferraris) which shifted out. Both H Bentley and L Ferraris were advised to exercise more care. Passing the 400 Metres was held up for clear running behind TOGEPI.
HIGH RISE SOLDIER (C511): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
SERGEANT PEPPER (E432): Approaching the 1000 Metres commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied to avoid HERO STAR (Apprentice Y L Chung) when that runner was steadied in front. Whilst the Stewards accepted that SERGEANT PEPPER had raced keenly at that stage, Apprentice Chung was advised that he must ensure he does not ease the tempo too quickly in similar circumstances.
TEAM HAPPY (J218): Near the 1150 Metres was crowded.
FLYING PHANTOM (J086): Near the 1150 Metres was crowded. After the 400 Metres was bumped by LUCKY PLANET which shifted out to improve. When questioned, Z Purton stated that his mount was caught wide and without cover in an on-pace position and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. He added that near the 150 Metres his mount was momentarily crowded by HAPPY GOLF when that runner shifted in. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
MISTER FOX (J059): Crowded shortly after the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, MISTER FOX will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
HAPPY SOUL (G249): Crowded shortly after the start. Sent for sampling post-race.
JOYFUL LIFE (H426): No report.
LUCKY PLANET (H235): Made contact with FLYING PHANTOM after the 400 Metres. When questioned, H Bentley stated that from a wide barrier his instructions were to take up a forward position. Sent for sampling post-race.
HERO STAR (D033): No report.
