FLYING HIGH (E204): When questioned regarding his riding over the final 300 Metres, M Chadwick stated that his mount races best when being held up for a final sprint. He said after following GRACIOUS EXPRESS into the race near the 200 Metres, he placed FLYING HIGH under full pressure, however, carrying top weight today, his mount did not quicken, particularly on a track, whilst still rated "Good”, had some give in it. HEROIC MASTER (G394): On jumping bumped with VIVA CHALEUR and then was steadied when crowded between VIVA CHALEUR and PRINCE OF PORTY. VIVA CHALEUR (G368): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. STELLAR EXPRESS (J186): Sent for sampling post-race. SPARKLING KNIGHT (C201): Jumped awkwardly and made contact with CALIFORNIA TOUCH. Then shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of CHEVAL VALIANT. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race. BABY CRYSTAL (H081): Sent for sampling post-race. GRACIOUS EXPRESS (J188): Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded between BABY CRYSTAL and FLYING HIGH which shifted out slightly. For a short distance approaching the 300 Metres was held up behind BABY CRYSTAL. JAMES TAK (J007): Sent for sampling post-race. ATOMIC ENERGY (H150): Approaching the 150 Metres was steadied when positioned close to CALIFORNIA TOUCH which was giving ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YOUTHFUL SPIRITS (J082): Jumped awkwardly, was bumped and became unbalanced. CHEVAL VALIANT (E336): Bumped on the hindquarters shortly after the start. CALIFORNIA TOUCH (J051): Bumped on jumping and became unbalanced. PRINCE OF PORTY (H009): Crowded at the start. RUBYLOT (H412): Badly crowded at the start by ATOMIC ENERGY which shifted out. Approaching the 100 Metres lay out and was awkwardly placed to the inside of HEROIC MASTER when that runner shifted in to obtain clear running.
