GALAXY PATCH (H399): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of MASSIVE SOVEREIGN to secure clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
HELIOS EXPRESS (H302): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 150 Metres was bumped by CHILL CHIBI which shifted out and away from GALAXY PATCH. After the race, H Bowman stated that his mount raced keenly in the early stages but settled after reaching the 1400 Metres. He added in the Home Straight HELIOS EXPRESS responded only fairly to his riding and, in his opinion, may not have run out the 2000 Metres of today’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
HELENE FEELING (H215): No report.
CHILL CHIBI (H109): Bumped at the 150 Metres.
ENSUED (H452): Bumped near the 400 Metres. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. When questioned, R Moore stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event which resulted in ENSUED having to work too hard in the early and middle stages. He said as a result ENSUED was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CHANCHENG GLORY (H212): Jumped awkwardly and shifted out.
MASSIVE SOVEREIGN (J208): Crowded shortly after the start by CHANCHENG GLORY which shifted out and was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. When being shifted across behind runners in the early stages raced keenly. Sent for sampling post-race.
BEAUTY CRESCENT (H334): Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start, examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Jumped awkwardly. In the early and middle stages over-raced and refused to settle and for some distance after the 800 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from STAR MAC.
SPEED DRAGON (H380): Held up for clear running making the Home Turn and near the 400 Metres became unbalanced when bumped with ENSUED. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.
UNBELIEVABLE (J130): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
KA YING GENERATION (J075): No report.
ELLIPTICAL (J052): No report.
SIMPLE HEDGE (H237): No report.
STAR MAC (J053): Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
