GO HERO (H315): After the race, L Ferraris reported that when giving ground in the Home Straight he had some concerns with his mount’s action and it made an abnormal breathing noise towards the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, GO HERO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
YEE CHEONG WARRIOR (E025): No report.
CHIU CHOW BROTHER (E188): Jumped awkwardly. After the race, H Bowman stated that with the early sectionals of the event being run inside of standard time, his mount did not show sufficient pace to lead the race. He said as a result CHIU CHOW BROTHER was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and did not finish the race off. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MEDIC ELITE (G129): Bumped at the start. Shortly after the start MASTER OF ALL (M L Yeung) shifted in, resulting in EASY TWO and GENERAL WINNER being taken in and crowding MEDIC ELITE which was steadied. M L Yeung was advised to exercise more care. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.
URBAN TRIUMPH (H200): Shortly after the start was crowded by DRAGON DELIGHT which shifted in.
MORE RICE (H271): Bumped at the start.
MASTER OF ALL (H177): Sent for sampling post-race.
DRAGON DELIGHT (G395): Approaching the 400 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. After the race, B Thompson stated that from a wide barrier and his mount coming back in distance, he was requested to ride it in a conservative manner in the early stages.
EAGLE RUN (G415): Blundered on jumping and became unbalanced. Near the 600 Metres got its head up and lay out when being steadied away from GO HERO.
EASY TWO (G423): Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
STAR OF GLORY (E316): No report.
FORTUNE MASTER (D371): As A Hamelin was unable to fulfil the engagement on FORTUNE MASTER due to being overweight, A Badel was substituted as the rider of that horse. The explanation provided by Jockey Hamelin for his overweight was accepted having regard to his good record in relation to like offences. Crowded shortly after the start.
GENERAL WINNER (E376): Approaching the 300 Metres was briefly held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
DEVIL AND GOLD (G443): Jumped only fairly and from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, DEVIL AND GOLD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
