REGENCY DRAGON was slow to begin, then shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of MEDIC POWER which became unbalanced. After this, despite being ridden along, REGENCY DRAGON failed to muster pace and raced towards the rear. For the majority of the race, MEDIC POWER travelled wide and without cover. LUCKY QUALITY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of LUCKY QUALITY after the race did not show any significant findings. MEDIC POWER, NIGHTLIGN and TUSCAN SPIRIT were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that REGENCY DRAGON had lost its left front plate.
