Five weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over 1200m at Happy Valley, jumping moderately and settling towards the back before making a move in the middle stages. It finished seventh, beaten two and a half lengths. A recent dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua (sections of 2-2-3) saw it pushed hard but performed satisfactorily. Now debuting at Sha Tin over 1400m after transferring stables, it faces a 12lb weight increase for this race. The step up in distance is expected to suit, and an inside barrier draw appears favorable. Expect a hold-up tactic with a strong finishing kick, making it a contender, especially given the jockey's ability to manage the horse’s pace – worth considering.
