On March 28th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1200m, the horse showed impressive form finishing with a strong surge within the group. Five weeks ago, it ran well over a Sha Tin mile, jumping moderately and settling towards the back before accelerating strongly in the final two sections to secure third place, beaten by only one and a half lengths – a good performance. A recent barrier trial also looked promising. Now stepping up to 1400m at Sha Tin, this time carrying an additional two pounds, the horse has proven form over this distance and currently holds the best time among its group. It’s expected to race from behind, possessing the strongest finishing kick in the field. Based on overall ability, it is considered a leading contender against the other runners. Zac Purton takes the ride, having some familiarity with the horse's capabilities, and the trainer-jockey combination appears solid. Despite drawing an outside barrier which isn’t ideal, there are expectations for a potential upset victory.
