Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a long distance at Happy Valley, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear. He made a move in the middle stages but faded badly and finished well-beaten. Now stepping up to 1800m at Happy Valley, needing to carry an additional three pounds, the distance is not ideal and the barrier draw isn't particularly favorable. The trainer and jockey haven’t established a strong partnership. Despite this, he shows potential to track the pace if allowed to lead or race prominently, has a decent draw, possesses good finishing speed, and will now be ridden by Hugh Bowman, who appears familiar with the horse’s capabilities.
