On April 15th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1200m, the horse maintained a comfortable mid-pack position. Four weeks prior, in a Happy Valley long-distance race, it settled well but lacked an impressive turn of foot with a steady pace throughout. A subsequent barrier trial yielded only moderate results. Making its debut over a Happy Valley mile this time, the horse benefits from a four-pound weight reduction and draws a favorable barrier, potentially allowing it to track the pace. Ellis Wong takes the reins, forming what is hoped to be a good jockey-horse combination; despite concerns about the distance and trainer compatibility, a clean break and commitment to tracking the leaders should see it finish among the frontrunners.
