On April 22nd, (dirt trial 1200m: 8-6-4) the horse was slightly slow leaving the gate and quickly made up ground. Five weeks ago in a similar race, it showed a strong performance despite a slow start, settling back in the field before accelerating with good speed in the final two sections to finish fourth, beaten three and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial yielded an average result. This time, the horse has a 3lb weight reduction but drew an outside barrier. The plan is to settle back in the field, however, its finishing kick isn’t as strong as some rivals, making its chances questionable. Even with previous form over this distance, times within its group are not significantly different, and it doesn't appear likely to have a competitive edge.
