On April 8th (turf trial 1000m: 6-6-5), he responded well to urging over the final two furlongs, showing willingness to accelerate. Eight weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf mile race, his performance was unremarkable; he tracked the leaders and made a move mid-race but failed to sustain it to the finish. Following a brief break, he’s undergone two barrier trials with no concerns observed. He has recently trialled over 1400m on the turf. This time, he will carry no additional weight, having shown previous form at this distance, and his times are comparable to horses in the same class. He is expected to challenge for an early lead, possesses a strong finishing kick within the group, enjoys favorable conditions, and comparatively demonstrates greater strength than other contenders. A clean jump should allow him to secure a forward position without difficulty.
