On April 15th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1200m (sections of 2-2-6), the horse travelled mid-division at a controlled pace. Two months ago in the same distance race, the performance was poor; a slow jump led to settling towards the rear with an even tempo and no finishing kick. Following a short break, one barrier trial showed little promise. This time carrying a 2lb weight reduction, its sectional timing is weaker than other horses in the group, resulting in an unfavorable outlook. Even if able to secure a good position tracking the leaders, the barrier draw isn’t likely to provide sufficient opportunity for success.
