Three weeks ago, in a straight course race, the performance was poor with a slow start and settled at the back. Maintaining a steady pace throughout but lacking any significant acceleration. Switching to Sha Tin over 1200m for its first attempt at this distance, it carries no additional weight this time; however, the horse doesn’t seem suited to this trip and had to settle towards the rear. Despite a late gate work-out, it was ultimately treated as a barrier trial run.
