Four weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over Happy Valley’s 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but finishing with a strong run. In a subsequent turf trial over Sha Tin's 1200m, he will carry three pounds less this time, drawing an outside barrier. His finishing kick was lacking in the trial, leaving his prospects uncertain. Despite posting comparable sectionals to horses in the same group and managing to secure a good position tracking the leaders, he has shown improvement in recent trackwork sessions focusing on stamina building.
