Three weeks ago, this horse trialled over 1000m turf (8-8-5), finishing with a late surge. On May 22nd, he completed a dirt trial over 1200m (8-8-5) with an average jump and steady finish. Most recently on May 9th, in a Happy Valley 1000m turf trial (4-5-4), he received one whip at the 200m mark and maintained a consistent pace. Two months ago, this horse ran over Sha Tin's 1400m turf track with a moderate performance; slow start, settling back in the field, showed effort mid-race but lacked stamina to finish strongly. Following a short break, three barrier trials have been conducted without noticeable improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin has now been completed, carrying two pounds less this time around. The competition within the group is even, requiring a hold-up tactic and relying on a strong finishing kick – a positive outlook for his chances."
