Three weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley 1200m, despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. He made a good recovery with fast sections in the latter stages, finishing sixth beaten two and a half lengths. On debut on dirt over 1200m, he now benefits from a four-pound weight reduction but the distance is not ideal and has drawn an outside barrier requiring a hold-up strategy. Finishing kick wasn’t strong enough against rivals; currently, the situation isn't favourable despite recent improvement and a slow start anticipated.
