Four weeks ago, in a similar trial, it performed well, settling forward and running strongly to finish second, beaten by half a length. A subsequent barrier trial yielded no noticeable improvement. This time, it carries only a one-pound weight increase, having previously secured three wins over this distance. It has the potential to lead and is favourably positioned. Compared to other competitors, its strength is relatively higher. Luke Ferraris takes the ride, familiar with the horse's temperament, and trainer and jockey remain aligned in their approach. Despite a slightly slower section time, drawing an outside barrier should not be problematic if it jumps cleanly and commits to leading, making a forward placing likely.
