On June 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 5-6-8), the horse showed inexperience over two sections. Three weeks ago, in a straight course race, performance was poor with a slow jump and settling towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace but lacking a finishing kick. One barrier trial showed no significant improvement. Switching to Sha Tin turf over 1200m for its debut at this distance, it will carry no additional weight this time, benefiting from an increased distance. Able to secure a good position tracking the leaders and drawing an inside barrier, despite a potentially weak finishing kick, the horse may still be competitive.
