Last run winner, four weeks ago over the same distance, this horse performed exceptionally well. Slow to jump, he settled back in the field before making a strong late run with fast sectionals to win comfortably by one and a half lengths. Moving up in class for this race, he benefits from a 10-pound weight reduction but the overall time of the group isn't impressive. The plan is to settle back again, however, his finishing kick may not be as strong as rivals. While having two previous wins over this distance and good rapport with trainer, form appears stable; potentially capable of making an impact.
