On August 29th (dirt trial 1050m: 5-5-5), the horse was given a light ride in the final section, showing limited improvement. On June 17th (dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-5), he moved inwards on the straight but lacked acceleration. On April 22nd (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-9), he led from the rail and slowed down towards the finish. On April 8th (turf trial 1000m: 3-3-4) he underwent a serious test but showed little progress. After a long break, this will be his seasonal debut. He has undergone four barrier trials without showing significant improvement. Dropping in class for this race and stepping back to Sha Tin over 1200m, he is set to carry 24 pounds more than last time. Based on the sectional times of competing horses, a hold-up tactic is likely, however, his finishing kick is weaker than rivals, creating an unfavorable situation and diminishing winning prospects.
