On September 5th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 7-8-6) with an average performance. On August 25th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1000m, he took the lead from a mid-barrier position and then eased back in a controlled manner. This is his seasonal debut after two barrier trials indicating insufficient preparation. He has lost twenty pounds in body weight. Another Sha Tin turf trial over 1200m has been completed, and now faces this race carrying an additional two pounds. Drawn on the outside, he's likely to be held up in the early stages; however, his finishing speed is not as strong as some rivals making for a less favorable position. Fortunately, his group’s trial time was good, showing signs of recovery and potential for an upset.
