On August 30th (Turf trial 1000m: 9-9-5), the horse made a move from inside position at the 800m mark, then shifted outwards to chase after the leaders in the final 400m. This is his seasonal debut and he showed little during an earlier barrier trial. He has a six-pound weight reduction for this race, but the draw isn't ideal. Despite having some form over this distance, the overall time of the competition wasn’t too bad; with a decent barrier position, a hold-up tactic is expected due to his finishing kick, though he may not be a major contender in this contest.
