On September 12th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse struggle in the straight and fail to reach its expected level. On August 29th, a 1000m turf trial at Conghua showed a slow start with diminished strength when urged forward, trailing back. This is the horse’s debut this season; two barrier trials have revealed it's lagging behind the required pace. Switching to Sha Tin over 1200m and stepping up in distance for its first attempt at this trip, the horse will carry an additional three pounds this time. The increase in distance should suit it, allowing it to track the leaders comfortably. If it jumps cleanly and manages to secure a forward position, a place within the field is anticipated.
