Following a barrier trial on September 11th (dirt track, 1200m: sections recorded as 6-10-10), the horse encountered crowding at the start and showed little response when urged forward. This is his debut run of the season; one trial has been completed without demonstrating significant improvement. He benefits from a three-pound weight reduction for this race, but the sectionals in the trial were uninspiring. A hold-up tactics are expected, however, finishing speed appears to be inferior to rivals and current form is unfavorable. Drawing an inside barrier offers some potential for an immediate forward move.
