On September 8th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m, the horse travelled tracking the leaders with limited acceleration. On August 29th, also at Conghua over 1000m, he broke slowly but responded to prompting and moved forward readily. This will be his seasonal debut following two satisfactory barrier trials. He is set to carry an additional two pounds this time, which isn’t ideal considering the competition. However, trainer and jockey maintain a good rapport, and pre-race trackwork suggests potential despite facing a challenging draw.
