On 9/9 (dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-1), the horse showed a good burst out of the gate and appeared to have plenty in hand. This is his debut run this season, following a trial showing improvement. Another dirt trial over 1400m at Sha Tin was completed; he will race without any additional weight this time but drew an outside barrier. The plan is to settle towards the rear, however, his finishing kick wasn’t as strong as rivals in the previous trial and the draw isn't ideal. He has proven form over this distance though, with good times recorded by horses in the same group, trainer and jockey have a strong rapport, and there’s hope for improvement.
