On September 16th, in a turf trial over 1000m (sections: 1-1-3), the horse showed good speed and maintained strong momentum throughout. On August 22nd, during a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 2-1-5), he broke well but didn’t accelerate strongly in the straight. Returning from a spell, this is his first run of the season. Two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. This time with a two-pound weight reduction, having proven form over this distance, and comparable times to horses in the same group, he should be able to settle comfortably tracking the leaders. His finishing kick appears strongest amongst his rivals, presenting an advantageous situation. Based on the horse’s ability, he is the leading contender in this race.
