On September 12th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse accelerate on the turn but then ease off. Returning after a long break, this is its seasonal debut. One barrier trial was undertaken, where it failed to keep pace with the leaders. This race requires carrying an additional three pounds. Time difference within the group suggests a need for a hold-up tactic, however, finishing kick wasn’t strong enough compared to rivals and the current form isn't favorable. Trainer and jockey haven’t gelled well together. Despite previous success over this distance and drawing an inside barrier, the rider change to Matthew Poon may only offer limited insight into the horse's capabilities for a winning performance.
