SECOND TO NONE

Three weeks ago, this horse performed to expectations over the same distance, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and making a mid-race move but failing to hold on at the finish. This time with a two-pound weight reduction, finishing kick is questionable, and the form isn’t ideal. Despite having some previous results over this course and similar times within the group, drawing a favorable barrier offers a chance to lead. Trackwork has shown consistent form without any setbacks.
