Three weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Sha Tin 1200m turf race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It made progress in the middle stages, launching a strong run. In its latest trial over 1400m on the turf, it benefits from a two-pound weight reduction. However, it has yet to win in four attempts at this distance. This time around, a hold-up tactic is expected, but the finishing kick may not be competitive enough. Despite a similar time to its group and an advantageous inside barrier draw, prospects appear unfavourable.
