He made a mid-race move, maintaining a good rhythm but was ultimately beaten three and a half lengths for fifth place. Returning to Happy Valley over 1200m this time without any additional weight, he has previous form over this distance, holding the best time among his group, showing improvement in condition. Despite drawing a poor barrier, the plan is to settle towards the rear again; however, his finishing kick isn’t as strong as rivals, presenting an unfavorable situation, and may need to conserve energy.
