A steady pace hampered its finishing kick, resulting in third place, beaten by one and a half lengths. Stepping up in class now, returning to Happy Valley for a sprint, it benefits from an eight-pound weight reduction. The horse has previous form over this distance with competitive times, draws well, and is expected to be able to take the lead. Trainer and jockey are working well together, with gate work being done prior to the race indicating good preparation.
