On October 31st, a dirt trial over 1050m saw the horse maintain a good effort with steady riding. Three weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf mile race, the performance was unremarkable; a slow start led to settling towards the rear, showing mid-race acceleration but failing to sustain it to the finish. A recent barrier trial showed acceptable form. Returning to Happy Valley for a sprint this time with a four-pound weight reduction, having previously secured two wins over this distance, and with comparable times to other horses in the same group, it’s expected to track the leaders. The horse has good early speed potential and appears well-prepared despite an unfavorable barrier draw; a clean jump should allow it to contend for a forward position.
