Two weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a straight course race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with an even pace but lacking any noticeable acceleration. In a subsequent trial over 1200m at Happy Valley, he will carry no additional weight this time but has drawn a poor barrier. The plan is to settle back in the field again, however his finishing kick is unlikely to be strong enough to compete with rivals. Despite similar sectionals to horses in the same group, he doesn't appear likely to feature prominently.
