A recent winner five weeks ago over the same distance, performing well to settle in a good position tracking the leaders and securing victory with a strong finish. One barrier trial has been completed but further work is required. This time needing to carry seven pounds more, having proven form over this distance and good times within its group, drawing a favourable barrier. The plan is to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick, appearing as the strongest finisher in the group; overall, the horse has good potential based on ability. The jockey has some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities, and trainer-jockey relationship is solid. Considered a strong contender for defending its title.
