February 27th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse settle in a good position tracking the leaders with an easy pace. Five weeks ago, over the same distance, the horse performed poorly, racing from behind with a steady pace and making up some ground late on, finishing three and a half lengths off the winner. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. The horse faces a challenging draw and lacks strong finishing speed, with trainer-jockey synergy not ideal. However, having recorded two wins over this distance and maintaining acceptable time figures, it remains a contender to watch.
