FATAL BLOW

On March 27th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse finish 4th, 4th and 3rd respectively in each section with moderate urging. Seven weeks ago over the same distance, it ran a respectable race despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. The current draw isn’t ideal, and its finishing kick is moderate; the trainer-jockey combination hasn't yielded significant results, however it has two wins at this distance and an advantageous barrier draw making it a contender.
