2/4 (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-4) jumped clumsily but settled into the run. 19/3 (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-3) showed a slow start but covered ground well with a credible performance. 2/3 (Sha Tin turf trial 800m: 4-1-2) showed a strong stride and an impressive finishing burst. This horse delivered an outstanding performance over the same distance four months ago, settling mid-pack before picking up momentum in the final stages to finish a close second, beaten only half a length. Having undergone three recent trials, the horse has shown slight improvement. Holding the best time in this group and drawing a favorable gate, he is expected to show early speed. Based on ratings, he is the strongest in this class. The trainer and jockey partnership is in good form and recent outings have been promising; however, he carries a 1lb penalty this time, has failed to win in three attempts at this distance, and lacks a strong finishing kick. Nevertheless, he remains a serious contender for the win.
