Six weeks ago, it ran excellently over 2000m on Sha Tin turf; despite a slow start and tracking the pace, it progressed steadily and finished second by just half a length, indicating high class. A recent trial showed acceptable performance. In its last start, the horse ran over 1600m on Sha Tin turf and performed reasonably well. With an ideal draw, its closing kick is second to none in the field, making it one of the top-rated horses for this race. The jockey has a good understanding of the horse's temperament and he should be considered a key contender.
