Ran a respectable 1000m grass trial at Conghua on April 27th (running positions: 5-5-2), accelerating in sections. Ran a steady race in the final stages of the 1200m grass trial at Conghua on April 10th (running positions: 3-3-5). On March 27th, in a 1000m grass trial at Conghua (running positions: 10-6-8), he settled calmly. On December 16th, in a 1000m grass trial (running positions: 9-12-9), he tracked along the outer rail, but when he accelerated, he gradually caught up. On November 11th, in a 1200m dirt trial (running positions: 4-3-2), he traveled wide and gradually advanced. Previously, over the Happy Valley 1200m in July, his performance was poor; he settled well up front with a steady pace throughout, running without much distinction. He has run five trials and shown slight improvement. When running over Sha Tin 1200m, he will carry four extra pounds this time. His timing has not been outstanding, and his finishing kick is slightly lacking; the jockey and trainer do not appear particularly in sync. However, his early speed should allow him to gain position proactively, and an advantageous draw might save him.
