Four weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a dirt mile, settling towards the rear and fading near the finish. He ran over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, where his time was slightly weak and the circumstances not particularly favorable; his closing speed was somewhat inferior. The jockey and trainer partnership did not show much to praise, but he still showed promise in morning work, and with six pounds taken off this time, caution is advised.
