KYOTO SPRING

On 26/5, in an 800m turf trial: (11-12-12) jumped out slowly with a stiff gait. On 13/2, in a 1000m Happy Valley trial: (7-6-7) jumped out without any discernible pace, accelerating down the straight with no drive. On 20/1, in an 800m turf trial: (9-9-10) jumped out bumping. Initial runs were average. This is a debut newcomer, beginning training in mid-October last year after arriving in Hong Kong. After three barrier trials, no notable performance was shown; the footfalls were slightly high but quick, and the horse is willing to chase but could not keep up with the pace. For this race debut, a trial run is recommended.
