Trial on 16/06 (Dirt Trial 1200m: 2-2-2) saw a straight sprint where horses were closely matched with no clear advantage. Seven weeks ago, he ran over 1200m on Sha Tin turf and the performance was disappointing; he settled well up front but tired in the final stages. A trial run showed slight improvement. Now stepping up in class, he faces a straight race where the circumstances are somewhat disadvantageous, and there isn't a strong synergy between jockey and trainer.
