On 8/6, he ran a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua on turf (2-2-2), running freely without being pressured. Five weeks ago, his performance over 1600m on Sha Tin turf was disappointing; he tracked the leaders from a good position but his closing speed waned, resulting in a heavy defeat. After running a trial race, there has been slight improvement. In his last Sha Tin 1400m run, the draw was unfavorable and his late momentum was slightly weaker; connections do not seem perfectly in sync. However, his early speed is sufficient to actively contest positions, he has a record in this distance, and should not be overlooked.
