Eleven days ago, this horse ran poorly over 1200m on Sha Tin turf. He was slow to jump out, tracking at the rear, and his final burst of speed weakened, resulting in a heavy defeat. He subsequently ran a brief race on Happy Valley turf with weaker time figures and was at a disadvantage, showing no outstanding finishing kick. The partnership between jockey and trainer was not ideal; however, with a three-pound weight reduction this time, caution is advised.
