28/8 Dirt trial 1200m (3-3-2): Moved to the outside after three furlongs, finishing second from behind. 3/7 Dirt trial 1200m (6-4-3): Accelerated down the straight and closed to catch up. Returning after a long break, this is his first start of the season. In April, he ran on Sha Tin over 1200m and was very disappointing; he trailed near the rear, with his closing speed weakening in the final stages, resulting in a heavy defeat. He has since taken two trial barrier runs and shown slight improvement. After running on Happy Valley over 1200m, he has lost all five recent races; the current circumstances are not advantageous. His closing speed is slightly inferior, and the jockey-trainer combination isn't ideal. However, he benefits from an advantageous draw and a decent time indicator, so caution is advised.
