CALIFORNIA BANNER (J132): Shortly after the start bumped heavily with PATCH OF COSMO, became unbalanced and shifted in and bumped SMART ZIPANG. Near the 150 Metres Y L Chung dropped his left rein for a short distance. CALIFORNIA MOXIE (J131): Jumped only fairly. LORD OF THE ROSE (J297): No report. SANTORINI (J076): No report. SMART ZIPANG (J165): Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters. ANGELIC (J336): Jumped only fairly. After the race, A Atzeni reported that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight ANGELIC failed to respond and did not appreciate the "Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. KA YING RESILIENCE (J439): Sent for sampling post-race. KARATE EXPRESS (J306): For some distance near the 500 Metres was held up for clear running. After being shifted to the inside of SANTORINI near the 400 Metres then raced tight between SANTORINI and KA YING RESILIENCE which shifted out. As a result, KARATE EXPRESS did not obtain clear running until near the 200 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. NEW ASIA GREAT (J412): Was fractious in the barriers, then jumped awkwardly and lost ground. The barrier manners were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, NEW ASIA GREAT will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial. PATCH OF COSMO (J357): Bumped shortly after the start. RUN YES RUN (J264): After the race, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount failed to travel strongly at any stage of the event and, in his opinion, did not appreciate the "Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SMILING EMPEROR (J371): Near the 250 Metres was held up for clear running behind ANGELIC as that runner commenced to give ground and was shifted to the outside approaching the 200 Metres to continue into clear running. SOLAR RIVER (J308): No report. SUPREME WINNER (J255): Slow to begin.

COLONEL (D090): Sent for sampling post-race. HAPPY FEELING (H443): Jumped only fairly. TACTICAL COMMAND (H197): Sent for sampling post-race. CHEER FOR SOUTH (H178): When placed under pressure after the 400 Metres lay out and as a consequence shifted out. COMMANDING MISSILE (G210): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, COMMANDING MISSILE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race. SONIC BOOM (H144): Shifted in at the start and was bumped heavily. For some distance near the 850 Metres raced keenly and was steadied away from COMMANDING MISSILE. After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount enjoyed a comfortable run during the event but failed to respond in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, may not have appreciated the "Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TIMESTORM (G109): After the race, H Bowman stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages and settled towards the back of the field. He said with the pace of the event being run outside of standard throughout the early and middle stages, TIMESTORM found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race. WIND SPEEDER (E281): Was left racing wide and without cover from the 850 Metres. THE GOOD DEAL (G025): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. HO HO STAR (H291): Jumped only fairly. For some distance near the 850 Metres became unbalanced when racing tight to the inside of SONIC BOOM which shifted in when being steadied to avoid COMMANDING MISSILE. SIX BEST FRIENDS (G205): Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped heavily by SONIC BOOM which shifted in. After the race, M F Poon reported that his instructions were to hold a forward position but was unable to do so when being bumped heavily on jumping. CIRCUIT SPLENDOR (E482): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

BULB PRINCE (G179): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. JOYFUL FRIENDSHIP (H295): Jumped only fairly. RELIABLE PROFIT (G462): After the race, L Hewitson stated that his mount was able to obtain a position outside the lead, but carrying equal top weight of 135 lbs on the "”Soft” track, did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SMART BEAUTY (G477): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Raced keenly in the early stages and near the 1200 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from LADY BILLIE. Over the concluding stages lay in and away from CASA LEGEND. LADY BILLIE (H365): Bumped at the start. SUNNY BABY (E166): Approaching the 300 Metres was eased when crowded between JOYFUL FRIENDSHIP and CASA LEGEND which shifted out to improve. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY HUNK (H101): No report. LEATHER MASTER (H034): Bumped at the start. Sent for sampling post-race. GLORY ELITE (H311): Sent for sampling post-race. HAPPY TRIO (G244): For some distance after the 450 Metres H Bentley dropped his left rein. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race. METRO WARRIOR (D387): Sent for sampling post-race. BRILLIANT EXPRESS (J321): Jumped only fairly and then was badly crowded for room between YODA’S CHOICE and HAPPY TRIO, both of which shifted ground. CIRCUIT VICTORY (H487): Was fractious in the starting gates. Removed from the barriers, examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. After travelling a short distance was bumped. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SUPER BEN (J148): Jumped only fairly. WISDOM STAR (J351): Kicked by another horse at the Start, examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. OMAKASE (H416): No report. DRACO (J115): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. WINNING TURN (J163): After travelling a short distance was bumped. YODA'S CHOICE (J146): Shortly after the start bumped heavily with BRILLIANT EXPRESS, resulting in its rider A Atzeni becoming unbalanced for a short distance and his left foot being dislodged from his stirrup iron for a short period of time. AWESOME TREASURE (E435): After the race, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his instructions were to lead. He said despite riding his mount along in the early stages, he was unable to cross runners to his inside and as a consequence he elected to obtain a position with cover behind SPICY KNUCKLES. He added AWESOME TREASURE travelled satisfactorily in this position and after making contact with CAPTAIN WIN after the 450 Metres when he shifted out to improve, AWESOME TREASURE failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. The performance of AWESOME TREASURE was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, AWESOME TREASURE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race. NEBRASKAN (J304): Bumped on the hindquarters shortly after the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CAPTAIN WIN (E466): After the 450 Metres was bumped and taken wider by AWESOME TREASURE which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race. DRAGON FOUR SEAS (J317): Bumped shortly after the start. FAMILY JEWEL (J390): Crowded on jumping between NEBRASKAN and FUN N FUN TOGETHER which shifted out. Approaching the 400 Metres was shifted to the inside of AWESOME TREASURE to continue into clear running. FUN N FUN TOGETHER (J232): Shifted out at the start, was bumped and became unbalanced. After the race, H Bowman reported that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise during the running of the event. IMA SINGLE MAN (D476): Jumped only fairly. Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. CALL ME GLORIOUS (H410): Sent for sampling post-race. GRACIOUS EXPRESS (J188): Sent for sampling post-race. GREAT STATE (J124): Near the 900 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from AORAKI SUMMIT. PRESTIGE ALWAYS (J300): Was fractious in the starting gates, jumped awkwardly and lost considerable ground. Before being allowed to race again, PRESTIGE ALWAYS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a small wound to the right hind leg. AORAKI SUMMIT (H300): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the second occasion that AORAKI SUMMIT had bled, the horse is permanently barred from any further racing. PULSAR STRIDER (G407): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race. As this was the second occasion that PULSAR STRIDER had bled, the horse is permanently barred from any further racing. MIGHTY COMMANDER (J360): After the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied to allow CALL ME GLORIOUS to cross. Continued to race keenly for some distance thereafter and near the 800 Metres got its head up again when being steadied to avoid GRACIOUS EXPRESS (B Avdulla) which shifted in when not clear. B Avdulla was reprimanded. RICH HORSE (J191): For some distance approaching the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid MIGHTY COMMANDER. VICTOR THE RAPID (J393): No report.

FORTUNE WHISKEY (J153): No report. TOP SCORER (J120): Bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide and without cover from the 700 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. EVERYONE'S VICTORY (E177): Bumped shortly after the start. Crowded near the 750 Metres. After the race, L Hewitson reported that his mount was unsuited by the rain-affected going. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. THE GREAT MASTER (H457): Noted to have blood in the mouth after the race. HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384): Bumped shortly after the start. Crowded near the 750 Metres. ROBOT KNIGHT (H464): Shifted in at the start and was bumped on the hindquarters. When questioned, L Ferraris stated that the intention was to hold an on-pace position, however, when caught wide in the early stages he elected to continue to go forward to cross runners to his inside to avoid racing wide. He added as a consequence ROBOT KNIGHT settled in a more forward position than what had been intended. Sent for sampling post-race. TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR (H430): Near the 750 Metres was steadied when crowded by THE GREAT MASTER (Y L Chung) which shifted in when not clear. Y L Chung was reprimanded and advised to ensure he gives sufficient clearance when shifting ground. After the race, Z Purton reported that his mount was unsuited by the rain-affected going. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CRAZY TREASURE (J063): Near the 300 Metres was steadied when crowded between ACA POWER and HINOKAMI KAGURA (H Bentley) which shifted out when not clear. H Bentley was severely reprimanded. After the race, M Chadwick stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages. Trainer M Newnham confirmed the instructions issued and stated that it was not the intention at its most recent start on 29 May 2024 to lead the event. STRIVE FOR GLORY (D186): No report. ACA POWER (E144): Jumped only fairly and then shortly after the start blundered when crowded between TOP SCORER which shifted out slightly and ROBOT KNIGHT which shifted in when being corrected by its rider. DAILY TROPHY (H283): Raced very wide and without cover from the 700 Metres and hung out making the turn from the 600 Metres. VICTORY MOMENTS (H142): Sent for sampling post-race. YOUTHFUL DEAL (G340): Slow to begin. MAGNIAC (H141): Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. The performance of MAGNIAC, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MAGNIAC will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SUPER WIN DRAGON (E253): No report. CAPITAL DELIGHT (H262): Jumped only fairly. Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race. HONG KONG HALL (G315): After the race, A Badel stated that his intention was to lead, but in the early stages was unable to hold a position on the rail when SELF IMPROVEMENT remained to his inside. He added in the Home Straight HONG KONG HALL did not respond to his riding and, in his opinion, this was due to the horse not being able to obtain a position on the rail. He said the horse performed in a similar manner on 13 March 2024 when unable to obtain a position on the rail and this was the reason as to why HONG KONG HALL performed disappointingly tonight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of HONG KONG HALL was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, HONG KONG HALL will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337): Sent for sampling post-race. MUST GO (J133): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PATCH OF THETA (H485): Raced wide and without cover from the 1000 Metres. Noted to have sustained a small wound to the left hind leg. Sent for sampling post-race. BEAUTY FIT (E279): After the race, Z Purton stated that the intention was to hold a forward position, but despite riding his mount along in the early stages it did not show sufficient pace to do so. He said when caught wide he then elected to shift his mount in behind runners in an attempt to obtain cover which he was able to obtain near the 900 Metres and as a result BEAUTY FIT settled further back in the field than what had been intended. HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203): When questioned regarding his riding, A Badel stated that he was instructed to hold a forward position but not necessarily lead. He said when his mount showed good pace in the early stages, he was able to improve to the front approaching the 1100 Metres. He added although he was aware the pace of the event was being run at a genuine pace, he was reluctant to restrain his mount as it was travelling comfortably. He further stated that he also elected to stay racing away from the rail as he was of the opinion the track was inferior due to the previous race on the turf being run towards the rail in heavy rain. FANTASTIC FUN (J364): On the Home Turn raced tight to the inside of NORTHERN BEACHES and was bumped near the 450 Metres. HYPER DRAGON BALL (G450): Slow to begin. After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount failed to show pace in the early stages and when he was concerned there may be something amiss with HYPER DRAGON BALL after travelling a short distance, he eased it down from the event approaching the 1100 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have a continuous displacement of the soft palate. As previous concern had been expressed with the horse’s action, HYPER DRAGON BALL will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in consecutive barrier trials and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments before being allowed to race again. SUNLIGHT POWER (H244): Shortly after the start was steadied when PATCH OF THETA was taken in by HEALTHY HEALTHY. In the middle stages raced ungenerously. Lay in over the concluding stages when placed under pressure. Sent for sampling post-race. ACROSS DA UNIVERSE (J328): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. NORTHERN BEACHES (H266): Making the Home Turn NORTHERN BEACHES and FANTASTIC FUN improved to the inside of HEALTHY HEALTHY and near the 450 Metres was crowded by HEALTHY HEALTHY (A Badel) which shifted in, resulting in NORTHERN BEACHES being taken in onto FANTASTIC FUN and NORTHERN BEACHES and FANTASTIC FUN making contact. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WRITTEN CASA (J305): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. STELLAR SWIFT (J139): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. EIGHTEEN PALMS (H033): Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, EIGHTEEN PALMS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

LAUGH TALE (G406): Near the 850 Metres was momentarily crowded by ALP’S AFFECTION which shifted in before being corrected. Near the 650 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from MEANINGFUL DRAGON. OWNERS' PRAISE (H047): Held up on the Home Turn. CIRCUIT FIERY (H475): When questioned, Z Purton stated that when caught wide in the early stages he shifted his mount across behind runners near the 1100 Metres to obtain cover. He added that in the Home Straight his intention was to shift to the outside of LAUGH TALE but was unable to do so when MEANINGFUL DRAGON was positioned directly to his outside. He said as a result he then looked for runs to the inside, but when FAMILY FORTUNE (A Badel) shifted out at the 350 Metres, he was then obliged to steady his mount further before obtaining clear running near the 350 Metres. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. ALP'S AFFECTION (J289): Bumped at the start. The performance of ALP’S AFFECTION, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ALP’S AFFECTION will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. MEANINGFUL DRAGON (H453): Near the 400 Metres became unbalanced as it commenced to give ground. After the race, C Y Ho reported that his mount failed to handle the "Soft” tack conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of MEANINGFUL DRAGON, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. For some distance approaching the 500 Metres was held up for clear running behind WAH MAY WAI WAI which was commencing to give ground. CHING (G380): Bumped on jumping. KARMA (G392): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race. YOUNG ACHIEVER (J291): Jumped awkwardly and then was checked shortly after the start when crowded between PRAY FOR MIR which was taken out by POWERFUL WINGS and BEAUTY LIVE (Y L Chung) which shifted in. Y L Chung was reprimanded and advised to make a greater effort to prevent his mounts from shifting ground. Approaching the 100 Metres was eased when PRAY FOR MIR was taken out towards that runner. SILVER UP (J078): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount was not comfortable on the "Soft” track conditions.
