DRAGON PRIDE (D164): Sent for sampling post-race. GO GO GO (H196): When questioned, Z Purton stated that making the Home Turn his mount was held up for clear running behind HORSE OF GOOD LUCK. He stated that on entering the Home Straight near the 300 Metres GO GO GO remained held up when disappointed for clear running between HORSE OF GOOD LUCK and SUPER HORNET which shifted in. He said after obtaining clear running near the 200 Metres between SUPER HORNET and HORSE OF GOOD LUCK, he was unable to ride his mount along when FASTPASS, which was positioned in advance of him, was giving ground. He added that he then improved to the inside of FASTPASS approaching the 100 Metres, but when that runner shifted in, he could not fully ride GO GO GO out to the finish of the event as he was concerned that he may cause interference to HORSE OF GOOD LUCK which was positioned to his inside. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SMART BEAUTY (G477): When questioned, B Avdulla stated that he was instructed to hold a midfield position from a favourable barrier, but SMART BEAUTY jumped only fairly and as a result was positioned towards the back of the field. He said in the early stages when he was positioned to the outside of CLASSIC ARCHI and behind that runner slightly, he elected to shift behind that runner to avoid racing wide which resulted in SMART BEAUTY settling further back than what he had intended. He added approaching the first turn near the 1400 Metres he endeavoured to maintain a position one-off behind CLASSIC ARCHI, but when racing tight to the inside of SUPERB DADDY, he elected to allow that runner to take his mount towards the rail to avoid contesting that position. B Avdulla further stated that in the early stages he was reluctant to ride his mount along as it has had a tendency to race keenly in its races when pressured in the early stages. He stated that throughout the middle stages SMART BEAUTY raced keenly and from the 550 Metres started a forward move around the field but was taken wider on the Home Turn by SUPERB DADDY. He added in the Home Straight SMART BEAUTY lay in which restricted his ability from pushing it out over the final 100 Metres of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race. SUPERB DADDY (D235): Sent for sampling post-race. Near the 300 Metres lay in when improving to the inside of LOYAL AMBITION, resulting in its rider M Chadwick having to correct his mount.

He added over the final 150 Metres when the run narrowed SUPER ELITE could not be ridden out from that point to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GENERAL ACE (G425): Crowded shortly after the start. Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the inside of SUPER ELITE to obtain clear running, but over the final 100 Metres was held up when positioned behind HAPPILY FRIENDS as that runner commenced to give ground.
